David Muller (b. 1978) is a San Francisco-based artist living and working in the Outer Sunset district. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing from the California College of the Arts. His diverse creative journey includes co-founding Outerlands, a restaurant and community gathering space in the Ocean Beach neighborhood. In 2022, David transitioned to working full-time as an artist and teacher, focusing primarily on watercolor painting. His work explores the natural world and our human capacity for spiritual connection or material separation from it. Often referencing landscapes near his home, his paintings serve as a visual journal of his personal search for meaning.
